Summary 1

I've been surfing the web since I was about 8, and over all the time I've spent with it I've almost exclusively used Chrome just because it's what I'm familiar with. Though, reading this chapter makes me wonder if I should give some other browsers a shot. Because of competition I think, it seems like all successful modern browsers that aren't already bundled with a greater product (like Edge or Safari, which I can't imagine anyone downloading on something like Linux) are fairly equal in their functions and usefulness. Because they're so similar, I figured that it really came down to your taste in U.I. However, in this chapter I did learn about some useful differences. For example, I did not know that FireFox was open-source, which is actually pretty cool and makes me think about trying it out.
