It never occurred to me that smaller businesses could use eBay as a substitute for regular liquidation services. I also didn't know that eBay offered items for direct purchase instead of auction, which is pretty nifty. I like that the internet makes it easier for skilled individuals to make some money from freelance work. I don't think there's a good reason for any kind of modern business to only be a brick-and-mortar store. With so many people using the internet now, it's probably worth the modest investment to get a website. Although, I really don't like entering information into websites and apps. I'm sending critical information into the ether where it *hopefully* gets to its destination that is *hopefully* secured and the receiver is *hopefully* legitimate.
