Summary 7

I've never had any problems with Wi-Fi networks, but when I was younger my dad set up our network with WPA2-PSK with a hidden SSID. That is very secure, I know, but for a small household in a quiet neighborhood it's just a little bit paranoid. It was kind of annoying, too, because some devices wouldn't even let you connect to a network with a hidden SSID... Now, the network SSID is no longer hidden, which makes life so much easier, but it is still the default identifier from the manufacturer, which might put it on some list for a goofy wardriver. Again, when I was younger, the only mobile data I would see was 3G, sometimes 3.5G. The lowest generation I've ever used was my grandma’s 2G kindle with a black and white display that could just barely load small webpages. I remember when 4G came out it was a really fancy thing, and when my parents got 4G on their phone it was like a new dimension of WWAN exploration. Even though we have 5G now, 4G still feels like a new thing to me. ..Unrelated Cybersecurity lingo is absolutely ridiculous. Bluejacking? blueSNARFING? Evil twin attack... After a certain point, it feels like Evans and Hooper are making up names and laughing at each other.
